CDTA College of Law’s courtrooms are also used for The Desert Center for Legal Education’s Project 180.
Project 180 is Amistad’s mock trial team and pathway program for those who are seeking a future in Criminal Justice, Law, or another related field. He program is funded and organized by the California Desert Trial Academy and the law offices of John Patrick Dolan. In the program, students are able to prepare for a trial competition, and they will compete against other teams in the California Mock Trial Association–run by the Riverside County Office of Education.
This unique opportunity provides students with once-in-a-lifetime opportunities: the ability to meet and speak with lawyers and judges, see the inner-workings of a level-4 prison, take personalized tours of college campuses, and more.
